Still not sure? Measure your table length and width. Add 6" to 12" on all four sides for
overhang/drop (the more better). So a table that measures 36" wide X 60" long could just
get away with a 52" X 72" cloth, but a 60" X 84" will look much better and allow for the
minimal shrinkage that occurs with all cotton fabrics,
Blood : Soak in cold water. Wash in cold water soap.
Chewing gum : Harden gum by rubbing it with ice cubes. Scrape off as much as possible. Sponge with a dry cleaning solvent. Rinse and launder.
Chocolat : Soak in cold water. Rub liquid detergent into stain. Rinse. If stain persists, use a dry cleaning solvent.
Coffee & tea : Use boiling water, if greasy stain remains from cream sponge with a dry cleaning solvent or all purpose cleaner. Rinse and launder.
Egg : Rinse and scrub with cold water before laundering.
Fruit juice : Use boiling water. If stain persists, brush with a water softener and water. Rinse and launder.
Grease – oil : Rub liquid detergent into stain. Rinse. If stain persists, pour a small amount of lighter fluid or WD40 over stain. Rinse and launder.
Ink : Treat as for oil, then spray with all purpose cleaner. Rinse and launder.
Ketchup, tomato sauce : Soak in cold water, spray with laudry pre-treater. Launder.
Meat juice, gravy : Treat as for egg, then as for grease. Launder.
Mustard : Mustard is like a dye and should be treated while still fresh. Soak in cold water, pre-treat with glycerine, then work in liquid detergent. Rinse with warm water.
Soft drinks, kool aid : Sponge while still wet. Work in laudry pre-treater or all purpose cleaner. Rinse and lauder.
Wine : Pour table salt on stain until the wine is absorbed. Remove salt. Soak in cool water. Treat with laudry pre-treater and launder.
For all cleaning products: always test on a small, inconspicuous corner of the fabric first.
